Welcome to Versatility of Quran ("we," "our," or "the Academy"). We are committed to protecting the personal information of our students, parents, and guardians. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website and services at www.versatilityofquran.com.

By submitting our enrollment form or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please read this document carefully.

Versatility of Quran is an online Quran academy providing one-on-one live Quran classes to students worldwide.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through our enrollment registration form. We do not collect any other data automatically or through tracking technologies beyond standard website analytics.

3.1 Information Collected via Enrollment Form

When you submit our enrollment form, we collect the following:

  • Full name of the student
  • Age range of the student
  • Gender
  • Country and city of residence
  • WhatsApp number (with country code)
  • Email address
  • Current Quran reading level
  • Whether the student has studied Noorani Qaida before
  • Preferred language of instruction
  • Course(s) of interest
  • Preferred class schedule and time zone
  • Any special requirements or questions you choose to share

We do NOT collect: class recordings, WhatsApp conversation content, payment card details, financial account numbers, or any other personal data beyond the above.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely for the following purposes:

  • To contact you via WhatsApp or email to confirm your enrollment and schedule your free trial class
  • To match you with an appropriate qualified teacher based on your level, age, and preferences
  • To create your personalized learning plan
  • To communicate with you about class schedules, updates, or changes
  • To improve our services based on general feedback

We do NOT use your information for: advertising, selling to third parties, automated profiling, or any purpose other than those listed above.

5. Payment Processing and Third-Party Processors

Versatility of Quran uses third-party payment platforms — specifically Payoneer — to process student fee payments. Please be aware of the following:

  • The Academy does not collect, access, store, or process any financial information including bank account numbers, card details, or payment credentials
  • All financial transactions are handled entirely and securely by Wise and/or Payoneer according to their own privacy and security policies
  • When making a payment, you are interacting directly with Wise or Payoneer — not with Versatility of Quran
  • We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of Payoneer (payoneer.com) before making any payment

The only payment-related information we receive is confirmation that a payment has been made — we do not receive your financial details.

6. How We Store Your Information

Your enrollment data is securely stored in Supabase, a trusted cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption. Data is stored on servers with the following protections:

  • Row Level Security (RLS) is enabled — only authorized academy administrators can view your data
  • All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/SSL
  • Access to the database is restricted to academy administrators only
  • No third-party marketing services have access to your data

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties, advertisers, or external organizations, except as described in Section 5 (Payment Processing). Your information is strictly used within Versatility of Quran for the purposes described in Section 4.

The only other exception would be if we are legally required to share information by a court order or applicable law. In such cases, we will notify you to the extent permitted by law.

8. Children's Privacy

Many of our students are children under the age of 13. We take children's privacy extremely seriously in compliance with applicable international regulations. We collect information about child students only from their parents or guardians, with explicit parental consent, through the enrollment form. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

By submitting the enrollment form on behalf of a child, the parent or guardian confirms that they have provided informed consent for the Academy to collect and use the child's information as described in this Privacy Policy.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently collected information from your child without your consent, please contact us immediately at info@versatilityofquran.com and we will delete the information promptly.

9. Your Rights

Regardless of your country, we respect your right to:

  • Access — You may request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correction — You may request that we correct any inaccurate information
  • Deletion — You may request that we delete your personal information from our records
  • Withdrawal — You may withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time

10. Data Retention

We retain your enrollment information for as long as you remain an active student or for a period of 12 months after your last interaction with the academy, whichever is longer. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems unless you request earlier deletion.

Our website may use basic browser cookies to maintain session information and improve your browsing experience. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that collect personal data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our website.

Our website may contain links to third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, social media pages, or payment processors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
